Our bill was signed by the Governor on May 7, 2007. Here is a
picture of that historic event. Governor Christine Gregoire, Senator
Jim Kastama, Representatives Dawn Morrell and Mark Milosia.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get this bill passed.
We had an outstanding Annual Members meeting at Leisure Estates.
Senator Margarita Prentiss, Renton Mayor Kathy Keolker, Lobbyist
Nick Federici and MTA Chairman Bob Case were all able to attend.

A new compliance bill has been submitted to the 2007 legislature. There also will be a
manufactured housing community preservation bill introduced. Please return to this
site for further information on bill numbers and hearing dates.

We must have large turnouts for the hearings on these bills. Contact your Senator and
all the Senators on the Consumer Protection and Housing committee and request their
support. All the committee members are listed on the Legislative page of this site
along with links to their e-mail. Just click on the Legislative link in the bar above to
get their.

Washington State Legislative site, click on the bills link and put in the number you are
looking for. You may also search by word using "mobile home" and all bills concerning
mobile/manufactured homes will show.
